Born on Sunday

Or, as the Budweiser frogs and iguanas emphasized, "born-on dating!"

First of the week, it's the start of a new day, a renewal of some sorts.

And, who doesn't need a new start on a new day?

A day to reinvent myself, to positively affect the world, to uplift someone's spirit

Each day is a chance to make a change, a chance to start-over, to go after what we did not start or complete.

I can't continue to use yesterday's excuse if I want to see new and better results

Sunday can be my own little revival, renaissance, recharging, renovation, revolution.

The end of the week, though, is that day of rest, completion (day seven)

Feeling a sense of ecstasy,

Knowing that things are complete,

That I can sit back and reflect on a chapter that is now whole

In essence, I am able to complete today by not looking at yesteryear's excuses, hurts, memories

 

However I choose to start my week, Sunday is a glorious day for me, a time to reflect on starting over and finishing strong.

May my tomorrows be stronger than today, and sweeter than my yesterday
