HOW EASY IS IT

How easy is it, I find myself asking this today.

To think that one would ban a whole thing for the actions of a few

Realizing how easy it will be to ban what you hold dear 

Because a few choose to do vile things in its name

How easy is it to say that "that's there problem, in their neighborhood, in their home, in their town,"

When it can just as easily be us

It starts with the smallest thing

"Ban this, ban that"

People preying on the fears of the many

Eager to get things their way

Then, going from that small thing,

We find everything taken,

Wondering, "why us?"
