DOMICILE

Domicile:

The place where you spend most of your time,

Your primary residence 

Where your heart lies and your lies take heart 

To establish the point in which you reside 

Constantly wrestling with ourselves on where we should be 

Loving or vengeful 

Peaceful or hateful 

We're living in a world where everyone wants the same thing,

But refuse to come together for the common good 

Where we want to rewrite history in favor of us, disregarding the actuality of those greatly affected 

Where the race is not won by the swift but the steady, yet we cry against those that dare challenge what is known to be wrong 

No, it's not working for me,

This domicile of inadequacy, of xenophobia and sexism, where we tolerate a hellish spirit within a positive in-name-only follower

We wonder why we are where we are

It's not necessarily because we don't follow a certain doctrine 

Or because we don't believe the same as the majority minority 

It's because we decide, as a whole, that we will live chastising others, stop helping others, "me, me, me" 24/7 attitude, isolationist, get them before they get us, they're not us so we don't like them, why don't they learn our language but we won't learn theirs in their country domicile 

It's not any of my business, 

But it resides in me, as well. And, for that, I am disappointed in the state I live.

Ecclesiastes 9:11: "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all."
